Teaching Practice - Week 7 (07 - 11 January, 2019)
This was the most awaited an crucial week of the Phase II teaching practice; and we were heading towards the last days in our training session in St Mary's HSS...
On Monday, had class in std IX A during fourth period where I revised the concept of prism and started the concept of Volume of Prism;also did some examples. After noon we had our Conscientization programme on the topic Influence of alcohol and drug abuse on secondary school children. It was inaugurated by Sri. Shajumon sir, in the presence of Smt. Nimmi teacher. Students from standards IX H and IX I were the audience. The programme was successful.
'Talk to yourself once in a day, otherwise you may miss meeting an excellent person in this world' - this was the thought for Thursday. During third period, completed the section Volume in the chapter Solids. Juniors from our college came for getting permission to do school induction programme in our school and they got the same. Happy for them.
Friday was the last day of our teaching practice. Had morning assembly in the school ground. Our school Headmaster Sri. K.G. Alex sir wished us for a bright future. Had fifth period in Std IX A. Students wrote feedback on my teaching, and sweets were distributed at the end of the period. Moral science examination was conducted during the last two periods.Met my mentor Smt. Jothi John teacher and thanked her for all the help that she has rendered during my tenure there. Staffs were given a small refreshment in the evening. Had a meeting with the Headmaster before leaving. Great experience altogether.
